Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal County (WORD) presents it's 24th Annual Fun Fish Event. Last year, they had over 1,200 kids participate. CCCA is joining the fun by having an interactive education station for kids to learn about the importance of conserving our land, water, and wildlife.

Join CCCA for a 2-mile guided nature walk in the restricted-entry section of Guadalupe River State Park that contains Honey Creek, one of the state's most pristine streams. Home to a rich variety of wildlife, ranging from jackrabbits and songbirds to turtles and salamanders, the natural beauty of this fragile ecosystem makes Honey Creek a special place.
Tour is free, but a $7 per person fee is required to enter Guadalupe State Park.

The tour will start promptly at 10:00 AM and end at 12:30 PM. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing, good walking shoes, and bring water. Pets are not allowed in the park.
Cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM, on the CCCA website and on our Facebook page. Please check to be sure the tour is still on before you head out, if the weather looks questionable.
