Drought and Demand: Canyon Lake Water Management

April 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

In response to the ongoing challenges posed by unprecedented drought conditions and their impact on Canyon Lake, a panel discussion has been scheduled to discuss the management of the lake’s water resources. The panel includes Brett Mazey, Lake Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nathan Pence, Executive Manager of Environmental Sciences for Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA), and Aundrea Williams, President of the Texas Water Company. Each  will provide insights into their organization’s respective roles and strategies in addressing current water management issues. The program is sponsored by the League of Women Voters Comal Area, Tye Preston Memorial Library, and Comal Conservation.  The audience will be invited to submit written questions for the panel.
