April 16 @ 6 p.m. McKenna Events Center “One Water in Comal County” – One Water principles consider all water valuable—stormwater, commercial, industrial, wastewater, drinking water; finding new uses for existing water, including water re-use, all designed to maximize water resources. As the One Water Coordinator, Robin Gary will discuss the what, why and how of One Water nationally and locally. One Water New Braunfels is a collaborative program between New Braunfels Utilities, the City of New Braunfels, and Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority to provide integrated water management that is resilient, sustainable and beneficial to communities in the greater New Braunfels area. |
The purpose of our Outreach Committee is to raise awareness of CCCA and its mission to preserve the natural resources in Comal County; to educate the community about the importance of open space in our county and the need to preserve it; and to provide information about conservation strategies and opportunities for assistance.
